Skin Cancer Reconstruction

I work closely with my dermatology colleagues to provide reconstruction of soft tissue defects in the event of the need for removal of large skin cancers or skin cancers in cosmetically sensitive locations.

All Areas of Reconstructive Surgery

A large proportion of my practice is dedicated to helping people restore both form and function for either congenital or acquired defects.  Breast and skin cancer reconstruction are a major portion of my reconstructive practice.  However, reconstruction of the extremities as well as the head and neck region are also an active part of the practice.

All Areas of Cosmetic Surgery

Cosmetic surgery is a big decision for anyone considering it.  I make a point of spending considerable time with people who are interested in improving some component of their appearance.  I make a life and a practice of being surrounded by happy people.  Working hard, providing real expectations and applying meticulous attention to detail is necessary to achieve that goal.  Please see my Before and After Photos at

Skin Care

I am fortunate to work with a team of incredible aestheticians and nurses who are experts in skin care.  Whether the goal is to prevent the signs of aging before they happen or to recover from the years of life that make us who we are our professionals have you covered.

Botox and Fillers

A complete complement of neuromodulators (Botox/Dysport/Xeomin) and fillers (Juvederm/Restylane/Voluma/Radiesse/Sculptra) is available.  You can be assured that all injectables will be performed by me, a Board Certified plastic surgeon, who has the knowledge of anatomy to decrease the risk of complications and to appropriately and completely treat them should there ever be a problem following a procedure.

Caring for individuals with chronic debilitating wounds has been a portion of my practice for many years.  Although very humbling, this side of my practice is also very rewarding.  I am able to form long standing relationships with these patients.  I am also able to apply some of my research from my time at UCSF and bring bench research to the patient's bedside.
